Battlefield: Bad Company 2: My review

First let us start with the verdict: GET THIS GAME NOW, LEAVE YOUR JOB GO TO NEAREST STORE PURCHASE. IF YOU ARE AT HOME FIRE UP STEAM AND BUY AND PLAY NOW!
Now for the review: This game is fun as hell. I not had this much fun in a FPS in a long time! Sure maybe it is the newness of the game or it could be the ability to ninja behind enemy lines while playing to plant some c4 on the tail of the blackhawk, then waiting in the bushes till the chopper loads up with enemy soldiers and then after a short flight and a loud explosion those soldiers get a quick trip down, TO HELL.
There is some goofy game design in BF:BC2 for instance, when you first get in game you do not get a medic box or ammo box or repair tool if you play the various classes that should have them. But just play the class for a round and you should have them at the end of the round. Hell with the medic you just revive 5 people and you got a heal box.
Also if you have played any other BF game from BF2 to BF:Heroes(heroes sucks btw) you can register here for the veteran unlocks. If you are vet you get the repair tool, medic box and ammo box right when you start. But more importantly you get two extra weapons, the Thompson and the Garand rifle. The Garand is rape at medium to long range, and the iron sites and pretty clean as well. The Thompson is also a good gun but you got to tap fire it or burst fire as it gets out of control fast.
Voice comm in game is really clear which is good and currently most people are playing snipers which means there are lots of tags to be taken. You sneak behind a ground and then go axe murderer on the whole bunch and you are rewarded with the dog tags from each of them! Got to collect them all!
Only thing I find annoying in the game is the graphics bloom, they treated bloom like lens flare in Star Trek, that is to say they dumped a shit ton in there. So go in to the settings.ini under My Documents and set that setting to false, you will not miss it.
Even though LAN play is not available in this game, it will be played at my LAN Party. I will investigate how some time this weekend.
The game gets 4.9 routers out of a possible 5 routers.

In other news every time I think of SupCom 2 a tear comes to my eye.
