March to the LAN! or LAN in March
Next LAN Party is on March 27th starting at 1pm going till 3am the following day. I want to try out BF:BC2 and maybe SupCom 2. But as always we will stick to our core games which are CS:S and TF2.

Would anyone else be down for some of the old BF:1942 or its mods? Such as DC, GC, Surreal, EOD, etc...

Did you ever play the GC mod?
I'll rape your Hind with my little bird. And I can nail a fly a mile away with a stinger. And while it may be slower, you can't get a bead on me when I'm in an Apache.
Plus the ZU, Patriot, and SA3 are just unfair in taking out air. I'll even ram you with a C130.

I used to love doing EL Alemein on CTF. I'd have the bomber bail out of the F14 at high altitude on the flag. While they went in I'd bust a 180 and drop to ground level. They'd hit the flag pole and get the flag then step to the side of it. Then I'd come back across at 0 altitude and Mach 2 to pick them up without slowing down. Unless the gaurding SA3 caught us with the guided missile we had it.
I wish they still had the sniper do spotting so that you could run the howitzer and scud to get kills from accross the map. You could hide the arty in some obscure place and everyone would be trying to find you while you raped their spawn from miles away.
And then being able to use AA radar to find snipers that were hiding.
That game was a lot of fun. I hope it works in 7. I'm going to have to get some play time in tonight.

I may be there, but there is a lan the week before in Austin I am going to. I would love to play some BF:1942 DC Mod, man that brings back some good lan memories. So count me in, but at 80%
