So win 7 day across the world, who is getting it? I have noticed for the frugal people that MS is offering a downloadable version of Home Preium or Pro Win 7 if you goto college. Wait scratch that all you need is a .edu email and you get a 30 dollar downloadable version. Looks like an upgrade only but reports on the [H]ard forum and indicating you can convert to a bootable ISO and then do clean installs.

I have some edu emails, I might go this route as it Le Cheep!

Ohh how I want this game, it looks to be the lovely Flashpoint of my childhood. Then I notice no deticated server, and multiplayer is wide open as face as cheat protection. Oh thank god I was stuck at work without my wallet!

Yeah so I attacked my server this weekend and had a great time messing around with it. I was testing the move out on my laptop and for some reason my laptop just doesn't like php. But anyway so I got done dicking around on my laptop and got read to install Ubuntu on servatron, I got Wunix installer for it. Had it setup a partition (all wonderfully easy!) and then it reboots. I plug in my usb keyboard and it gets to the point where I get to choose O/S's. Ohhh yeah my server is 10 years plus old and the motherboard does not support pre-boot usb! No problem in my pile of junk I must have one right.

4 hours later... nope no keyboard. So working on that front as I can not jusify purchasing a PS/2 keyboard.  Hopefully my work will give me one for free.

Hmm really good movie! The wife did not like as much but the Bill Murray part was great. Go see it now!

Looks like those guys down in Angleton are gearing up for another LAN Party, per the email looks like they are aiming for friday OCT 30th. This is a friday LAN, going from 7pm to 3-4am in the morning. If they stick to this date I will be unable to attend as I got Cisco class on friday nights and Saturday Mornings.
