BD-5 Building Day two! I cut the last of the pieces out of the depron foam and started to glue it together with my trusty hot glue. I got the skeleton pieces glued together, then places the fuselage sides glued on. Started to work on the Elevator linkage but purchased the wrong linkage pieces so I'm going to pickup new wire on the way home. Hopefully I can finish it up tonight so I can crash it on Saturday!

My Super Lightning flew for the last time last Sunday. I learned a valuable lesson after it crashed, before handing over the controls explain how the controls work. But it doesn't matter as I was about to rip off all the electronics from the Super Lightning any how! I hope to have this new plane ready to go for this Saturdays Flying Circus @ Paul D Rushing Park. I counting the days till the PowersGaming LAN during Memorial Day weekend!

So I completely trashed my first home built plane so I have been looking around for the next one. After flying the f35 I found that I have a problem with hand launching, the vast majority of the time I end up going lawn dart right off the bat. So this time around I want something with wheels or something I could put wheels on.

Yeah my server was down for a LOOONG time. But just when you thought you got rid of me, like a bad penny I show up! So back online, hopefully for a long time without errors.

The Story:
I go to vacation in California and around my 4th day there I notice the server is down. Super great! So I try to remote in, no dice. I say oh well, and toss back another beer while relaxing on the beach. I get home a few days later and restart the server manually. Everything is good! Then I get accepted into the Starcraft 2 beta, my life was complete or so I thought. I was busy that day so I just installed it, but put off playing till the weekend. I sit down Saturday and notice that there is no internet... Call up ATT they send a one of their crack repair monkeys out and he says that my house is fine but no signal! So then the next day they send out a crack RF monkey, who proceeds to test every comm box between my house and the CO. Looks like someone was digging in their back yard. By the time the internet comes back online I was too busy to play.

Then a few days later I get more time and I sit down to play, BAM! Power goes out. Call up the power company and they say it will be back in a few hours which makes it just in time for me go to bed! I also noticed that my IP was moved so I had to dig up where I have my DNS and also my login info as it was randomly generated. So that took a few days as well.

Just to let you all know I plan on playing TONIGHT, so if you hear word about a meteor striking North-West Houston that would be my house and I will blame Starcraft 2 Beta.

In other news I have picked up a new affliction and its name is RC Airplanes! I built my own and it is SO COOL! I'm modifying it currently and will be painting it tonight! The nose is a testament to how good a pilot I am!

Another LAN has past into the history books. Not as large as I would have wanted but fun with lots of L4D2 and BFBC2 as well as building RC airplanes! Yes you read that right building RC airplanes! You can really never tell what will happen at a LAN party.
