Today sucks balls that is all.....

I got a HAT! So now when I play medic I can pay tribute to my Prussian heritage. Also I have RMA'd my video card as I am tired of it lighting on fire every time I play. So I'm going to be down a few days while BFG ships me another.

Here is an update finally. We did get permission to have the party near the Angleton City Hall again. For those who don’t know, the address is:

I am told that there is a small chance that we could get a last minute cancellation on the building, so we are getting a backup location set up, probably the Lake Jackson Library.

Bring munchies and drinks, or drink ours, we don’t care ! We will probably order pizza as usual. No fees involved (except pizza), just pitch in where needed. A couple of you have volunteered to help set up and that is greatly appreciated. I will let you know if I get any more details.

Over the next few days we'll be removing all TF2 items that were earned using external idling applications. We're going to adopt a zero tolerance policy for external applications used to manipulate the persistent item system. Due to us not having a policy in place prior to today, this time we're only removing the items earned through cheating the system. Going forward, if we find users using external applications, we'll remove all of their items. If you're interested, only about 4.5% of the players in TF2's community will be affected by this cleansing process.

Meanwhile, everyone who took the moral high road will soon be finding a new hat in their inventory. We've also significantly increased the chance of finding any of the existing hats.

We realize there is a high level of demand for items, and we're still working on systems to allow you to find them in new ways (via Trading, and crafting duplicates into desired items). However, we need to draw the line at running external applications.

Well not really, I'm signed up for a 8 week course so I can take the first test to pickup a CCNA then after that next semester it is onto picking up a CPP. Maybe an MCSE or PHR after that. Then I might be able to compete with Chocolate's alphabet soup e-peen.

Also I joined twitter, I do not know why but I did it. I notice the quality of my twits is directly related to the amount of time I spend on twitter. For instance I found out about a new law in the works that will give the Federal Government the right to "switch" off the internet if a "crisis" came about. Of course this bill did not say what it means by "switch off" and what a "Crisis" is. This is a helpful tweet. Now my tweet titled: I am board this is a picture of my keyboard was after I read about 300 tweets on my lunch break.
